Everything may look new, but we aren't new at all! We have simply evolved. New Heights Studio was formerly Freedom Danceworks. Because we do more than dance, it was time for a name change. We may not be "new," but you will see a lot of changes and growth happening this 2023-2024 season as we reach new heights together! Will you join us?

That’s how New Heights Studio was birthed, and we have evolved continually since then to meet the needs of our unique community.
Opened in 2019, originally as Freedom Danceworks, we have brought in some of the best instructors and coaches in Arizona. Just because San Tan Valley is on the outskirts of Phoenix doesn’t mean our students should have less quality programs available to them.
We invite you to stop in and see for yourselves. Try a few classes, and see why more and more families are calling New Heights Studio “home.” We can’t wait to welcome you into the family!
THE STUDIO
We don't look impressive on the outside, but we pursue excellence inside! Take a step through our doors and find a lobby with viewing screens for parents, two dance rooms with marley and raised subfloors to keep our dancers safe as they train. Head over to our tumbling barn to find a 40' x 50' training space with spring floors and carpeted mats. As we head into our 6th season, we will continue making improvements to our facility and property. We can't wait to show you what we have planned!

Our Foundations classes are just that...they set the foundation for your dancer from a young age while adding plenty of fun into the mix!
Progression
Levels 1 & 2

Our Progression classes begin at age 5 or 6 thru 12. Students will continue building upon the foundation that was set, but they are still considered beginners. We also offer daytime classes for homeschoolers!
Progression students are invited to audition for our Tiny and Mini New Heights competitive dance companies, New Heights Cheer Team, or New Heights Acro Performing Team.

As students evolve in their abilities, these classes will bring an additional challenge to keep them growing in their skills. Classes also offered in Leaps/Turns, Strength/Conditioning and Deep Stretching.
Level 3 students are invited to audition for our New Heights Junior competitive dance company.

While we never consider a student a "Master," these classes will help them to gain a deeper understanding of their bodies' abilities. Classes also offered in Leaps/Turns, Strength/Conditioning and Deep Stretching.
Int/Adv Teens are encouraged to audition for New Heights Senior competitive dance company.
Pre-Professional
Levels 3 and Up
This program is for aspiring dancers, ages 9-18, and is tailored to each individual student. Students should also be a part of our Evolution or Mastery Program.
This add-on program includes 8 hours of private instruction per month with your instructor(s) of choice. Includes free quarterly workshops with guest teachers and one competitive solo.
